With a height of 800 feet that gets you up to the top of the coaster rock crawler style, it is sure to make your heart drop. The highest drop is 415 feet tall and it will insure you that you will have the thrill of a lifetime. With a length of 2000 feet, it might just be the lengthiest ride you have ever seen. The hills are from 90 to 70 degrees steep! So be prepared for a steep, fun, awesome ride! You only experience 3g’s so you likely won’t get sick due to the all new roller coaster shock dampening suspension. And guess what! It has 15 inversions in this track, so there will be speed, flipping, and lot of crazy awesomeness. This amazing ride is located in Durham, NC. Warning, only for people who are willing to have the ride of a life time.

 

If I was a grown up for one day I would….

In Mrs.Williams’s 6th grade LA class we are reading the book Cosmic by Frank Boyce. In the book the main character is so tall that people think that he is a grown up, and we are pretending that we are put into his shoes for one day. If I was a grown up for one day I would probably travel to the place that I want to travel very badly, Sydney, Australia. If I went to Sydney as a grown up, I would go out of town and then I would go on a hike, look at the new animals such as the koala bear and the kangaroo. I would eat very fine Australian cuisine while I was there and stay in a nice house. I would fly in the First-Class section of the airplane. I would also rent a boat in Australia so I could go see the marine life in the Great Coral Reef. I’d love to see animals such as the Great White Shark, the Vampire Squid, the Box Jellyfish, and other flamboyant marine life. Then I would fly back on my favorite Airline, Jetblue back to the RDU international airport. [That trip would actually be longer than one day.]

My day as a grown up

We are reading the book Cosmic, and the main character is mistaken for a grown up. Our teacher asked us to write about what we would do if we were a grown up.

Okay so I would need a job right? Well let’s say I had a job.  Now what job?  Let’s say I was President of Apple.  That would be cool!  So I would travel on my private jet to London. London has many fun things to do.  First, I would visit the Harry Potter part.  There is a place where people have recreated places from the Harry Potter movie, and it would be fun to see.  The second place that I would go is to The London Eye.  The London Eye is a big building that carries you to the top slowly and you can see the whole city.  The final thing that I would do would be to visit Buckingham Palace.  After that I would fly back to California on my Private jet.  That would be my day as a grown up.

 

Grown-up for One Day

          In the book Cosmic by Frank Boyce, the main character is often confused for a grown up because he is so tall.  If I were a grownup for a day I would drive to the mall and go on a shopping spree. Eventually, I would drive to the beach and stay at my beach house. Finally, I would go to the movies at 12:00 and stay at a fancy hotel. Once I had all my fun, I would have to go to work. No fun. Other things  I have to deal with are that I would have to pay bills and have to go to the grocery store to buy food. Being a grown-up for one day might not be too bad but, if I had be a grownup for a long time well, that’s a different story.
