If you want to know how to make a bamboo bow and arrow here are the steps:

Bow

1: Cut down a stalk of bamboo about 1.5 cm. wide then partially cut off the branches but leave a stub in the middle.

2: Cut that to around 1 meter, what Ever is comfortable for you make shure to cut it a centameter beyond the last ring on both sides.

3: Then put a bunjee cord hook in the ends of the bamboo and you have got your bow.

Arrow

1: Cut a 1 cm thick 2ft. Long piece of bamboo with the leftover bamboo.

To tweak the bow so the arrow does not scrape your hands you need to cut a Y shaped branch 2 in. Long then secure it on the stub on the bow with rope or twine as a notch for the arrow. Sharpen the arrow if you want to. The picture above shows how the bow should look when you are finished.
