In Language Arts, we all had a project. We were to create a comic from one of the stories in the book we were reading, Wisdom Tales. The book had many stories from around the world and from different religions, all complete with a moral. I chose to do Mice in Council, a short story about mice in council (hence the title) who were all trying to solve a problem. The problem was that they couldn’t get food because of the new cat who would eat them if they went out of the hole. So basically, a young, brave mouse put forth an idea to put a bell on the cat.  An old, wise mouse asked him if he was brave enough to put the bell on the cat, since he had said the idea, but the young mouse said that he was not actually that brave. The moral is to not be boastful and to think before you speak. A picture of my comic is above, enjoy!! (Read the bottom comic before the top).
