Justin’s wisdom tale

One day, up on a tall mountain, there lived a impatient goat who was being stalked by a hunter. The hunter only wanted the goat’s horns. He thought of the perfect way not to harm the goat but to get his horns. He threw his net and trapped the goat and drew his knife. He cut the goat’s horns right off the goat’s head and the hunter left.

The goat was very sad and mad that it would take forever for his horns to grow back. He climbed the mountain so the hunter would not get him again. The goat then met a bird who told him that if he kept climbing, he would reach a wise llama that could give him back his horns immediately! Excited by what he just heard, the goat climbed and climbed until he found the monastery were the wise lama lived. The goat rammed through the door and asked the lama to give him his horns back. The Lama told him the that the river of time would present him with new horns. The goat did not have a clue what the lama meant and the lama could tell that he was clueless. So, she said, “Look, in time your horns will grow back so be patient and get over it!”

So the goat left and over time his horns grew back. The hunter returned and tried to do the same thing but the goat dodged the net and scampered away. The hunter also learned to be patient and that’s how it’s been ever since then.
