In class we read a short story called The Lady And The Tiger. The lady and the tiger has is about a king that is semi barbaric. In his kingdom instead of going to jail he has them go to a coliseum. In the coliseum the are two doors, behind one door is a beautiful lady who he will marry. If he picks the other door then a vicious tiger will come out and eat him. One day the king’s daughter meets a man and they love each other. The king doesn’t approve and he finds out they were seeing each other secretly. The story ends by the man going to the coliseum but it doesn’t tell you what door he chooses. My class made endings to the story and this is how I ended mine.

He glanced over at the lady and by the look in her eye he could tell that she knew what was in what door. She quickly pointed to the door on the right, no one but he noticed. He slowly walked over to the door on the right and just stood in front of the door for a long time. He had a slight thought of what was going to come out of the door. He thought the lady was going to come out of the door because he never thought the princess would be so awful to him and make him suffer just because of jealousy, but he was not sure. As he slowly pulled the door open, all he could see was a dark hallway. Out walked a beautiful lady. Because the princess knew who was going to walk out of the door,and she hated her, she switched the beautiful lady with a plain looking, older woman. As she was happy for him, he was happy she was not jealous enough to make him die.
