The Tiger or the Lady Ending by Dianne K.

When the princess swiftly moved her hand to the right, the accused youth hastily tramped to the door to the right. He clenched the handle and threw open the door. When he opened the door, it was dark as black. He went in deeper and deeper to hope that the princess had gave him the door that wouldn’t make him say goodbye to his life. He carefully walked step by step into the darkness. All of a sudden, he heard a soft growl. He slowly looked back in fright. There, behind him was a big silhouette with yellow eyes glowing in the darkness, the rumbling growl of the monster’s stomach. He could smell the cold breath of the monster. He knew that the princess had shown him the door that would keep him from marrying the beautiful girl next to this trap. His eyes filled with salty tears. He slowly took a small step toward the bright door. He took another small step. Then he ran out of the door screaming in terror. He dashed to the other side of the field, only to entice the angry tiger to run faster. He saw the orange and black striped tiger leaping toward him. He saw the gigantic mouth open like a nasty yawn. The accused youth tried to escape but he was trapped. The princess regretted her terrible decision and turned away. The youth then was gone in an instant. He had been torn up to pieces, the bones in the tiger’s mouth were like crunchy chips. The princess, crying like a baby, had given the youth the door to the tiger, the door that wouldn’t have made the princess see the man marry the beautiful girl in the right. She had no choice, but to abandon her loved one.
