Pegasus

According to Greek myth, Pegasus was born out of Medusa after she was decapitated and was tamed by Bellerophon. Bellerophon was helped by Athena, which certainly brought him to the top. Bellerphon was known for slaying the vicious fire-breathing monster, Chimaera.Bellerophon did not make it to Mount Olympus, however, Pegasus did. Pegasus became the one to carry Zeus’s thunder and lightening and was very graciously sent into the stars by Zeus.

Pegasus is in the northern hemisphere and is the seventh largest constellation in the sky. Pegasus’s brightest star is named Enif, or, nose and happens to be 672 light-years away from the earth. Enif is also an orange supergiant star. Pegasus is best noticed on the wicked month of October at 9 p.m. Pegasus was in Greek myth, a winged horse, who did amazing things.
