J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series is one of the best books of all time. Well, at least in my opinion. The story starts off with an eleven year old boy raised by his aunt and uncle. They don’t treat him very well but he survives eleven years with them before finding out he is a wizard.

In all of the seven books in the series Harry finds something evil and mysterious in his wizard school, Hogwarts. He and his friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, stop it just in time, risking their lives to save the school.

J.K. Rowling almost brings the characters to life with her unbelievable writing skills. Read the books to experience Harry’s adventures and get absorbed in the book. You won’t be able to put it down.

Red Jericho is a book about two kids named Rebecca and Douglas. Their parents have disappeared into sinking desert.

Rebeca and Douglas are on a ship called the Expedient. They are trouble makers so their uncle ( the captain) is going to send them off to California because they are being naughty. But the day before they are supposed to leave, they sneak on to one of Sheng Fat’s ships. They find a Sugang (kind of like a ninja) called Xi but they all get captured. Then they then get put into tide cages and almost drown, but luckily Xi’s brother Xu comes and saves them. They come out and help the captain attack Sheng Fat’s base. While they are at it, they find many secrets many involving Zoridum. Read this book to find out what happens next! It’s a great story!
