In class this year we had a big unit on Egypt and Egyptian mythology. We read The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan. One of the many projects that we did was make a collage about a god or goddess of our choice. I chose the goddess Bast. As you can see, Bast was the goddess of cats, and she was said to have the head of a cat. She was also a protector goddess, and protected things like joy, love, and pleasure. She was the patron over singing, dancing, pregnant woman, and secrets. Above you can see my collage.
