My Ending for the Lady and Tiger By:Luci J.

The young man confidently walked over to the right door and with a mighty tug, hefted it open. In horror he gazed at a tiger staring intently out at him. He slowly backed away as if just now grasping the meaning of this situation. The tiger took a large leap toward him. The youth shrieked loudly, much to the enjoyment of the king, who had conveniently not hired any mourners. As the the tiger encircled the man with clorid, smooth movements, the youth looked around frantically for an exit but to no avail for the hungry tiger pounced on it’s prey. The audience gasped as the young man was gobbled up by the tiger. The princess had a tough soul but she could not bear to watch the horrible scene unfold before her. She took her heavy linen robe and covered her eyes, but she was not quite fast enough.
Before the poor man died he looked at the princess one last time and in his eyes there was no, sorrow no pain, the only thing there was was a question; Why?
