“Grown upness is wasted on grownups.”- Liam Digby from Cosmic.  If I somehow was able to become a grownup I WOULD NOT do what every other true kid would do: get a car, ruin your diet, spend all your money, go on some fantasy vacation etc…. I would go home and get a book that only “Adults” can understand. After I finish the book, I would probably take my allowance (not my parents money) and buy a ticket for the bus. Once on the bus I would go to a fancy restaurant where I would hopefully not act immaturely and blow my cover as an adult. If I survive the restaurant (however unlikely) I would lie low, watch a movie, and turn in for the night.
